Well if you guys are looking for somewhere different from Holland Village but still within the Central West, I can recommend Rochester Park

I've been to one of the place there before, Da Paolo Bistro Bar. Very pleasing atmosphere.

Every bar and restaurant occupies the colonial houses (fondly referred as black-and-white houses by locals) and the whole area is shrouded in landscape and 'mini forest' which gives a secluded atmosphere amidst the busy Biopolis nearby. Reminds me of Dempsey :)

It is a short walk southwards from Buona Vista MRT

Just throwing in a suggestion :wink:
