Laser/IPL face treatments in Singapore

Post by Marzuki » Tue, 08 Nov 2011 3:05 pm

Hi all,

Does anyone have any good recommendations on where to go for laser/IPL treatments in Singapore? I'm a newbie to this and trying to get my head around whether there's a difference between going to a beauty chain and a clinic. Also, what kind of treatments are good for wrinkled, tired skin? I've called up a few places and so many different treatments are available that I'm getting a little bewildered. What are the treatments that worked for you and was there any pain, discomfort or down time?

I saw an ad for a talk on Nov 19 (http://www.neuglow.com/gallery/up-coming-events/) and will probably attend it. If you know of similar events, can you share them too? I'd like to Q&A the doctors too in my search for information. Thanks in advance!

Hi Marzuki,
I stumbled upon your post and I am interested in lifting my skin and minimising facial pores with laser treatments. How have your research been? Any advice for me, THANKS!!!

I went to TCS for fraxel O2. 2 sessions and i havent seen much results. Also, it was really painful- like a thousand stinging needles on your face :(
I paid around 2700 for 6 sessions, excluding product costs..

Hey Cheeky cheeks,
I tried the spectra pore reduction programme at the aesthetic clinic I visit. It's a laser that helps skin tone and brightens up the complexion. Nice results, keeps my skin matte and clear. You may want to Google this treatment?
Good luck! :D

Hi Rae and tinkerbell,
thanks so much for your detailed answers and experience. My aunt went to National Skin Centre to get some sort of laser thingy done, she doesn't know the exact treatment but I could see that after a few months , her skin looks plumper and fimer, On the flip side I wonder if too much laser wears the skin down.
