need opinion for new hairstyle for men

Post by mynazman » Tue, 08 Nov 2011 9:52 am

i need some recommendation to go for a hair change. the thing is i have quite thick long curly hair and i dont like the hair texture that i'm having right now. i really would like to change my hairstle but i never went for any hair treatment before so i'm clueless about what type of hairstyle to do for my hair. can guys do rebonding too? has anyone ever tried before? how is it like? besides rebonding, is there any other hair treatment to change the texture of my hair?

It's a knack I think. I've been using one for the past 4 years. I love it. In fact, on my last trip home I managed to find one of the S4 Shadow models. I like that one even better as it seems the slight weight difference seems to make it easier then the plastic/nylon ones. I think they are great.

Have to admit, you also have to have a right shaped noggin as well to make it easy.

with our with out shaving foam?

In or after the shower?

Everyday or let it grow for a few days?

Do you finish totally knick free or covered in tissue blots?

With or without a mirror?

One long stroke front to back or work your way around ya bonce in little nibbles?

Just trying to get some pointers as mine has sat in the draw, instead I just zip over to the man with the sheep sheers once a week.

I use their "HeadSlick" lotion. I've tried it with foam but it's better with the lotion as I like to keep relubricating the area where I've shaved so the overlap is lubricated for the next stroke.

In or after the shower? After the shower as the stubble is softer then.

Everyday or let it grow for a few days? I usually do it 2x a week unless there is some function mid week.

Do you finish totally knick free or covered in tissue blots? Depends on whether I do it in the morning before going to work (rushed) or do it the night before (leisurely).

With or without a mirror? without (except when doing around the front of my ears as I wear a beard the stops at the top of the ear. Otherwise, no mirror necessary.

One long stroke front to back or work your way around ya bonce in little nibbles? Long strokes up the sides & back to the start of the dome all the was around, then front to back & side to side across the dome. I actually shave against the direction of the lay of the hair as that gives me a closer shave but lots don't but would have to probably shave every other day.

Just trying to get some pointers as mine has sat in the draw, instead I just zip over to the man with the sheep sheers once a week.

Thanks for that.

Now typing with a shiny new chrome-dome, actually its not shiny because I used the matt head lube, I just missed a small slither at the back, but I still needed the headblade, a normal wet shaver and an electric beard trimmer.

Its still a bit of major under taking not the sort of thing you can do while waiting for the traffic lights to change.

You are right a mirror just confuses the issue.
