RE: Hairdressers for black/mixed race women

Hi All,
I'm mixed race (white and black Caribbean) 25 yr/f.
As we all know with our type of hair, European hairdressers are a big no no.
Since moving to Singapore I have only found one hairdresser that deals with my type of hair. (it's in Orchard Towers). The woman is really nice but as it's just her I have to wait for my appointments and I just wanted to see if there was anyone else I could try.

Can anyone recommend any other salons and also places to buy hair products??
My hair is really quite damaged now and is in need of some tlc.

I would've thought that European hairdressers would be waaay better than the (local) alternatives who can't even deal with hair that isn't dead straight and probably are more likely to listen to instructions.

I always struggle because I'm mixed race, black hair products are too strong for me and 'european' hair prodducts don't do anything but damage my hair. Guess I will stick with the one I've found and wait till I go back to the UK for aa proper hair treatment. Thanks any
