There, there. There is no need to take a piss on SE because his recommendation betrayed his faith on his workmanship. Just go ahead and report him to SCT if you need to; I'm sure SE meant well when he recommended him.

Wd40 wrote: Another funny thing I DIY'd this week. Ever since we moved every morning around 6-7AM I could hear a bird coming and hitting away our cardboard box below the window where AC is installed. This happened for a week, I realized probably the bird is trying to build a nest. On careful examination, the hole on the cardboard for wires inlet was bigger than needed and a bird used to enter it and trying to build a nest. I opened the cardboard cover from inside, its so simple just 2 screws and blocked the whole with a cloth. No more issue now.
Question;

What would you have done if you opened the cardboard and instead of finding the bird trying to build a nest, you find 2 eggs in the nest?

The same happened to me 3 years ago. There was this chirping non stop (in the mornings), we got someone over to take a look.. this chap found a nes plus 2 eggs.. he plucked out the nest, together with the 2 eggs, and dumped them into the dustbin!

I found this out when I returned home in the evening. So I ask myself sometimes; what whould I have done if I was there that day?

1) Leave it there till the eggs are hatched?
2) Transfer the nestplus eggs onto a tree?
3) Dumo it into the dustbin?
Good question :) My wife kept warning me not to open the board and she suspected there are eggs in there or may be even little birds just hatched.
If there were eggs in there, I dont know, probably I would take the whole nest with the egg out and just keep it on the AC motor.
The mama bird can then come and deal with it.
If before the mama bird arrives some other bird takes away the eggs, then well its nature, tough luck.
But I would surely not let the eggs remain at its place.

No complaints so far. Not sure if you can put the number in the forum but you can google "ntuc home services".
You mean this one - http://www.income.com.sg/homeservices/index.asp ?

True Story - One day, my water heater broke down, there was a loud cracking sound and water started to leak from it. I didn't have time to ask ard on the forums, so I googled for plumbers and clicked on one of their advertisements and called a plumber. Their service turned out to be pretty good, and I was pleasantly surprised.
