Hi all,
I attended a business lunch at a very nice Chinese restaurant around the corner from the Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel a few months ago. Another business colleague is staying at the Grand Copthorne but I can't remember the name of the place.
Help! It wasn't in the Copthorne, but we left the hotel lobby and walked around the corner--under the Copthorne awning though. It was close but not affiliated with the hotel.
Sorry, my memory is crap these days. Appreciate the help!

Crap ? you mean the Curry Crab restaurant along the Outram Road ? That's the only one I can think of .. 3 Hoa Crab Delicacy ..
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=315+outra ... 4&t=m&z=19
Or was it a "CHINESE" restaurant ??
Edit: or the Grand Shanghai restaurant .. ?? It is in the google map, when you zoom in ...

No, seriously I can't remember the name of the FABULOUS restaurant--my memory is crap.
It's not the Shanghai--that's inside the hotel, right? This was kind of around the corner of the same building...maybe I need to do a recce and walk the walk again.

With the new google map, you can do a virtual walk
The closer you zoom in the more details that appear ..
If I recall, Shanghai - is sort of around the corner .. not inside the hotel per-se ..

So mysterious? Self-poisoned..? Drinks in their room? The whole story sounds so odd...

It might be totally unrelated, but that hotel is on the same corner as the Erawan Shrine which had the peculiar terrorist attack years ago.
