Finding out about trainings for job seekers

Post by fxster » Fri, 28 Oct 2011 11:27 am

I saw a website for Investment Banking Institute
This is the website: http://www.ibtraining.com/reuters.php
Said to be conducting training in relation to investment banking and suitable for job seekers like me as well.

Then I also saw another Investment Banking Institute, this different website: http://www.ibi.edu.au/
Providing more comprehensive trainings, i guess. But it looks like they only provide trainings for company employees, rather than job seekers like me.

Have anyone attended /tried / enquired about any of the above training providers?
Any comments on them?

Also any recomendation for trainings / coaches on for job seekers, such as resume writing and interviews skills?

Thank you

They have a link on the site to "Our Bankers". Search some of the names on LinkedIn, and when you find one, send them an email asking if they would recommend the course.

Your best bet is to ask someone who has studied there if it was worthwhile or if there is another way to break into Investment Banking!
