Cures for cough

Hi, i have been having cough for a period of time and no medicines seems to help. Does anyone has any remedies that could cure cough that can share? Thanks

I did seen a doctor and even did x-ray. But apparently everything is normal. I guess is those stubborn cough.

See another doctor. We only have one MD here in the boards but he's not active lately.

oh... cos i went to 2 doctors already. The medicine they gave just don't seems to work. Haiz...

sorry to hear...cough maybe a sign of healing so maybe you should just let it go away naturally?

i agree...actually sometimes we cough becuase our respiratory system has foreign invaders and our immune system will activate the coughing mechanism to expel the foreign invaders out in the form of phlegm etc..
So sometimes, it's good sign if we cough..it means our immune system is doing its job
You may try taking peppermint, dark plum, Ji-Lin Ginseng and crysanthemum..those are good to nourish respiratory system.

you've not really given enough information to allow anyone to help you - i recommend seeing an ENT instead of a GP.

more tests may be needed. an X-ray is not enough.
