Spritual Practice

Post by Strong Eagle » Sat, 27 Nov 2004 7:13 am

I'm not a particularly religious type and do not enjoy sitting through most Christian services. However, when I was in Houston, I was blessed to be able to attend a "Sunday school class" taught by a Methodist minister who spoke more of spirituality and lessons for daily living than religion.

He was able to combine elements of Buddhism, Christianity, psychology, spirituality together in a way that each class was thought provoking and inspiring.

I'd like to find some sort of practice now that I am in Singapore. Does anyone have a suggestion over and above simply going to the Methodist church?

TIA

Loislane

I'd like to assist but Not sure if i understand yr question, did u want to attend another christian/methodist church which had a similar minister such as yours or were you looking for a non-sectarian spiritual place?

If you give me yr email address perhaps we could discuss this in further detail so i can understand yr needs a bit more.

Hi Loislane,

I'd prefer a non sectarian spiritual practice.

Write me at [email protected]

Thanks
