pregnancy cost for my wife

Post by sunradpm123 » Thu, 13 Oct 2011 8:54 pm

Hi all,

I am holding Singapore PR for the past 6 years, i got married last year, my wife still in LTVP, she is not working, currently she is 6 month pregnant, we are plan to deliver our baby in singapore, we are basically from India, due to some family issue we plan our baby to deliver in Singapore, we are currently doing our antenatel checkups at NUH,

Here are my Questions.
1) what will be total cost for delivery in Singapore? ( normal, Cesarean),
2) Am i eligible for Medisave maternity Package? or atleast can i use my medisave money in anyways.
3) is thr any insurance available to cover up my bills?

please reply to me if you still need any information,

thanks for your time,(pardon me for my English)

If you are a PR yes you can use your Medisave, NUH staff should be able to advice you on this.

Go to www.cpf.gov.sg for more info on subsidies

congratulations on your impending arrival :D

The Ministry of Health website will give you average hospital bill sizes for normal delivery, normal with complications, c-section and c-section with complications...

if you haven't already, it is worth getting a prenatal package rather than paying for each individual visit, works out considerably cheaper that way :-)
