Where can I buy a filing cabinet?

I need to purchase two 4-drawer filing cabinets for use in my home (I am a freelancer). Stationery stores don't have them, furniture stores don't have them, Ikea doesn't have them, and office furniture websites seem to apply only to companies trying to furnish commercial offices. Can anyone direct me to a store? Has anyone successfully purchased filing cabinets in Singapore? (I've visited the used office furniture "showroom," by the way. It's a dirty warehouse of broken chairs.) I live near the river, but I'm willing to travel if that's what it takes!

VHive have a few stores if you don't opt for delivery and want to "walk" it home... http://www.vhive.com.sg/store_locator.html I knew one was in Nex, didn't know there were so many...

Thanks, but no luck at Carrefour at Plaza Singapura or Suntec City. Have you actually seen 4-drawer cabinets anywhere?

I would assume if you want delivery it can be arranged for a fee. Unit is on ground level facing Toh Guan Road East.

And yes, I went downstairs to the unit and looked for myself. It's their showroom. Type in the street location in Google Maps and use street view and you can see a unit with an Orange & Black sign (squares) about mid way down Enterprise Hub.

For SE - There is now a Homely Hardware located on the ground floor facing the road as well - it's down towards the end of the building where the temple is.

I swear I'm not making this up--the yellow pages link gave me an error message for "breaking one of the 3 laws of robotics."

I'll check VHive at Great World, which is right around the corner from me. According to their website, they do have cabinets for around $400... maybe there are cheaper ones that aren't being advertised...

I was at Furniture Mall today and asked about cabinets at two office stores. One place quoted me $230, the other $208. Any idea why they're so expensive here? They go for $75-90 in the US.

Open mouth, insert foot--guess it's been a while since I bought a filing cabinet. Just checked several US websites and didn't see any 4-drawers cheaper than US $130.

I appreciate everyone's suggestions. I hope I haven't sounded brusque--I've been on a quest for these cabinets for a good 6 weeks and can't believe I'm still looking!
