mailing in favourite foods from home

Post by bv01 » Mon, 10 Oct 2011 6:42 pm

hi all. I am wondering what is the best way to send food items from home (South Africa) to SG. I have seen some of the local supermarkets stock out brands but the prices are really expensive.

I am having a hard time finding

provita biscuits - cereal kind of savoury biscuit
robertson spices - the chicken one
boxed wine- any kind
rusks - dried biscuit used that gets dunked in coffee
5 roses tea - type of ceylon tea
biltong- dried meat product /jerky

any suggestions ?

Don't know if they are still open or not as they used to be in Katong but apparently moved at some point during the last three years (been that long since I've been there - wanted provita's. Eventually, my niece, who worked for SA Air, would get the pilots to bring back care packages for me.
