Very touching letter about food. My hubby and daughters are not very adventurous when it comes to food. And deep down, I always have this nagging feeling that by limiting their palate, they are somehow limiting their options in life. I sat down with them to read this letter and in the evening at a Hong Kong style cafe, we ordered baked pork job, spaghetti with meat sauce, baked cod and ham cheese crepe. Miraculously, every member was willing to sample and took a bite out of each dish. And the next day, after much negotiation, my daughter was willing to eat half a brussel sprout.

More open-mindedness = more happy moments in our household.

All my cajoling, feet thumping and incessant reinforcements in the past could not accomplish what this letter did. Some of the answers to our lives' problems are so easily within reach and the beauty of it, it is free :P . Free from stress.
