I had a fun tour at Singapore River

Post by happy » Tue, 23 Mar 2004 9:14 pm

:D

i have been busy for the past 2 months, adjusting myself with the weather, the living and working environment. Last weekends, my colleague introduced her tourist guide friend to me, and she brought me to Singapore River, she organised a tour called "History & party @ Singapore River", it was really lovely... i had a very good understanding (about half hour walking history tour along the river and the colonial buildings..)on Singapore history, after that, we had "fish & chip" & beers at the Boat quay Riverside, a London Victoria Pub, dining al fresco, breezy wind on my face... romantic ambience... that's not all, we even went for a Bumboat ride, breezy ride, we got so near to the Lion head..(i think it's called melion..)... and we landed at Clarke Quay, wow, the night was really beautiful. so much fun and i paid only $60. The tourist guide is great, she has her own web page and a "custom-made"tours specialist. I went to her website www.singaporepeople.com, it seems like she is guiding in a different ways, she lets the visitors choose their itinerary..so flexible..she said that her visitors from USA likes her tour very much, flexibility & detailed :-), if i am not wrong, her tel is 91596032...she is nice and fun, maybe you could introduce your visitors to her..

Good for you Happy. I also did the River Tour, after living in Singapore for 4 years

You staying here or just on a temp stay? Careful, Singapore has a tendency to grow on you, big-time. You tend not to want to leave once you take the bad with the good.

Have fun!

Babara, there's a comma in the URL that's causing the error. Remove that and you're away. Alternatively, click

You're welcome Babara.

Sure it's ok. It's great. Why not so sure?

Btw, this site is a pretty in-depth look into Singapore as well. You may wanna show her it too.
