I did it myself and just got the approval took 8 months, and it said I might have to do NS. Cool I hope they let me drive a tank and blow thing up.

Personally, I think it's more satisfying to use an Apache helicopter to blow a tank up. Unlikely for reservists but it doesn't make it less awesome.

Yup Just polished my Prada boots and got my bike helmet, Raybans all ready. Once they stick me in the NS my first port of call will be the camo section and point out they really need to work on their disguises. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out Lim Chu Kang Road and East coast parkway are covert runway.

Talking about the ECP. I just noticed that all the bougainvillea in the central divider is now planted in large black plastic pots. I only just noticed, I thought it was previously planted in beds, i.e. in the ground.
Or am I imagining this change?

See everyone is figuring it out, and if I am now going to be defending "MY' country I am really going to have to show them how to hide these things. First buy a shed load of inflatable palm trees and scatter them all over the road, that should fool most people.

Imagination run wild. They were there when I got here 30 years ago!

I wasn't using my imagination. I was merely pointing out that I've only just noticed it.
p.s. It is very suspicious though none the less

ECP runaway was meant for commercial flights that has landing issue or when Changi Airport is found to be deem unsafe for landing.
Not sure it is safe for those big XXX aircraft though but it sure is able to take 747s
There are four runaways at the of PIE, Pioneer Sector which are meant for fighter jet.

SF
I do not keep PM message, too many of it and most of it confidentials. I received , I replied and I delete.
If you can tell me what you are after then I will try to recall. I am not the sharpest tool in the shed nowadays.
