I will be traveling to Taiwan from the mainland USA (even though my user name is Hawaii Five-O, Lol!!) to see Dr. Ryan Hsu for rhinoplasty in November 2012 (yes, next year.) I do not speak Chinese so if you do, that would be great!

Not sure on the exact dates yet but I've been emailing Dr. Hsu for the past year (a few emails here and there throughout the year) and he has been great with responding. I like how he builds really strong bridges and balances out facial features. I have some of my Dad's large & round Hawaiian-looking eyes and tan skin but unfortunately inherited my Mom's very flat Southeast Asian nose.
I want a bigger/higher/wider bridge (a dramatic change), alar base narrowed and my tip projected and refined. I've never had any type of surgery on my face ... I think "bad" plastic surgery is very obvious and have been afraid to mess with my nose even though I've been self-conscious about it since I was a teenager. Your face is out there for the world to see (first impressions) and anything weird will and do become obvious for others. My worst nightmare would be to come out of surgery with a Michael Jacksonesque nose, NOOOOOOOO!!!!
