We're in the process of getting some quotes to move all our stuff, incl. furniture and the companies that we have contacted have given us quite pricey quotes, which include packing all our stuff. Is this really required by law or are they just trying to get more money?
Also- do apartments generally come unfurnished or furnished in Singapore?
thank you again

Hi misss,
Quotes from moving companies are usually door to door and includes packing, loading etc. its good that you called a few moving companies for comparision.
Apartments here usually comes unfurnished and has white goods only (eg: cabinates, cooker hod, built in wardrobe etc)
