Post by dark-scion » Sun, 02 Oct 2011 1:07 pm

Hi to all...

Currently im already 20yrs and turning 21 this november. We applied for my PR since my parents and my brother are PR already, so we file my application first month of this year and got the result by september but that time im not interested bout taking NS... so we Cancelled it.

But now im interested in NS,
So, to cut the chase..
my question is..

can we apply for my PR again or can my parents sponsor my PR again?
even if Im turning 21 this november?

Badly need your help guys... :(

Sure, you can apply, but the odds are you won't get it. However, if they know you are willing to do NS they might, unless you are not the right flavour.

Oh, by the way, this may well have not entered your mind, or again, it might well be the reason for the change of heart. You are not guarantee citizenship even if you do NS. The gahmen retain the right to NOT give you citizenship even after you have done NS. So if you have a local girlfriend that may well be behind this, you might want to rethink the whole scenario. Not giving advice here, just relating the facts so you can make a better informed decision.
