Heres the problem I don't know the address, its on a busy road where there's the famous katong laksa 388 shop, its very close to a lovely old shop house painted dark red and has been hoarded up, close to a well know pernakan shop selling outfits and snacks, its on my sat nav in the car when its back from servicing I will try and dig it out.
Now I know what Greek and Latin sound like! I have never been to Singapore and am moving in a week and your description of the shop felt like it was in a strange language! But I will wait till you can dig around more

Thanks
The one next the the red shop house I believe is called Smart Alley, it's just over the footbridge from Roxy Square. They have a web site http://www.smartalley.com.sg/

The new one opened up at 112 Katong is called Zero2Six and their website is http://www.zero-six.com/.

I have noticed that the Melissa & Doug selections in Toys R Us have improved quite a bit in recent months but recently Zero2Six had a 20% discount but that may be because it had just opened. They didn't come rushing up to tell me that when I was there the other day so that may have ended now.
