Adoption in Singapore

Post by 3 monkeys » Wed, 28 Sep 2011 10:46 am

Hi all,

I've been searching the forum for info on adopting a child while living in Singapore (particularly local or from Malaysia or Indonesia, depending on how it works). In particular I would like to know about how much it costs and how long it might take, roughly.

If anyone has adopted recently, I'd love to get some more up to date information

Many thanks :-)

Thank you, sundaymorningstaple. I guess I should have been more specific. I have already searched the forum using those terms, but I was hoping to find someone who has adopted recently as those threads are all a couple of years old and things in the adoption world change quickly. There is one person who posted in 2011 asking the same thing as me, but no reply.

Has anyone adopted recently or is there anyone here who is going through the process now? Many , many thanks :)

Generally, especially with regard to adoption, 6 years of posts with similar results? You could probably take that to mean nothing has changed then. But, who knows, you might get lucky.....
