I'm very worried!! Help me!!

Post by GearFour » Sat, 24 Sep 2011 11:16 pm

Hi everyone,

I would be going to do open rhinoplasty very soon.

Can anyone who have done the surgery tell me whether i have to wear the nose cast after the surgery? For how long?

And after the surgery, how everyone manage to walk out of the place? With so many people looking at your nose cast. It's alright if it's at the clinic, but once i walk out of the place, how everyone hide?

And only my mum knows i'm gonna do it, i wanna hide from the rest of my family, is it possible to do so? I'm freaking worried about the nose cast and the stitches etc etc.

Please give me some advices and experience:(

Thanks

you will need to wear the cast for about 6 to 7 days so is better for you to stay there 8days so the doctor can help you take out the stitches and the cast.

My doctor gave me a face mask i walk around and shop ard with it but it was during the summer and it made it so hard to breath and it was sooo hot in the mask.

is better to go with someone for support.
Go check out PS topic people write about their experience.

I'm getting mine done by Dr Woffles Wu, he only got a clinic there, i don't think they allow people to stay there.

If you are a Singaporean, hide at home...anyway, your family will find out. If not, stay in a hotel. Remember you will be ugly for days depending on your healing rate. Some people don't look too swelled up at 2 to 3 weeks.
