Is this good package

Post by makeithappen » Fri, 23 Sep 2011 9:28 am

Hello All,
I need some help i done some research and on payscale for 5-8yrs experience in sales i can expect an annum salary of 84k.
The Package on first offer is base salary per annum is 92k singapore dollar and i can earn half my salary in commission( before tax).
How much tax will be taken 15% or 20%

holiday 20 days which to me seems low
Full medical care
pension

I have looked at two bedrooms apartment / condo,I see i can get something ok at 1500-2000 per month. Dont know if the areas are ok though?

Any help or advice welcomed

Singapore does not use PAYE so your whole tax bill will come around July-Sept following the Tax Year.

Minimum Annual Leave in Singapore is 7 days. Anything more is a bonus. Typically, most start with 10-14 days with the financial centres doing much better than that (21+)

Full medical care
pension (???)

We don't know either unless we know where they are.....??? However, for the price given they must be HDB units (government housing) which can be okay or real dogs. Basically any area in Singapore is okay, safety wise.

Any help or advice welcomed
