Maternity Leave for Contract Employees In Singapore

Hi, I am a software consultant, working as a contractual Employee.
My question is that, Shall I avail Maternity leave?

and My contract is already renewed for 1 yr.
I am going to give birth in singapore only..
I am working in EP

Does you employer know you are pregnant?

It depends, you may have it clearly stated in your contract, or if this is not the case, the company's HR department will be the best place to ask. In most cases unfortunately it will mean zero or close to zero maternity leave :-|
