Why do need a lawyer ?? again ?????

If said GF is not married anymore, do just spend some time - like an hour or so, at www.rom.gov.sg and you know what to do.

I did .. and I never felt the need to engage any Marriage lawyer .. after all,. this is SINGAPORE ..

PS: your questions have been answered in the other threads .. so I dunno what i could say anymore ..

i need advise on (like wat type of Pass, procedures, docu needed etc) to both her and her child to come here..becos child is of wedlock case..child is not borned by me, and she work as S-Pass before in Sin 3 years back. seems all too much for me at a sudden thus needed good advice.

i had post another thread where my detail case is but so far no good advice given by experts here..

did you really read up on ROM ?

Marriage will NOT GUARANTEE you any form of pass/visa, and ROM is very specific on that, and insists foreigners sign a form of acceptance.

And passes are done by MOM/ICA based on your status

Do you still need a lawyer ?

Reading another few months and posting on more forums will not change reality, even if it's not what you want to hear:

- Marrying her will not give her a visa to come here, at least not immediately (ICA wants other proof that this is a real relationship, like living together for a few years elsewhere).

- Getting a job is a better chance for a visa (e.g. S-Pass, as she had before).
