Hi there,
If you want to get good wind and spots all year long close to Singapore, there is Hainan Island, where I am going often. There is straight flight to Haikou and then all the good spots are 1 - 2 hours away buy speed train and taxi or just car. Depends on the wind direction. If you are interested, I can show you around and also to help with anything about kiteboarding and travel info. [email protected]

Yes there is some kiteboarding at East Coast. The problem is the wind is coming kind of rarely and light. So depends on your weight and the size of your kite. Anyway this place is not good for beginners or students.

Hey All,

Looking to take up kitesurfing. Complete beginner - have never tried it before. Know of any places in Singapore that are good for beginners to start?

I've just had 2 groupon windsurfing lessons at constant wind. Still thinking whether to continue and sign up a course. saw sailing programs there as well. Maybe can check out if they offer kite surfing too..
anyone interested in windsurfing?
