Hi, I'm an internal auditor living in Canada. I wish to work in Singapore for a couple years. I have family here and I've been here a few times (in fact, I'm here until next Tuesday on vacation).
In terms of myself, I switched to IA only a few years ago after spending 5 years doing general management in the motorsports industry. Despite having only 2 years of IA under my belt, I have a Canadian management accounting designation (CMA) and my CIA. I plan on having my CFE by the end of the year and I'll be writing the CISA exam in December (although I have no IT audit experience at the moment). Fluent only in English, have studied some Mandarin, Spanish and French but far far from competent in any of them.
Are there any internal auditors on the forum that can give some feedback about their experiences and job hunting tips? Expecting salary and benefits? Chances of getting a response when applying from out of country?
