LLDPE 1/4" water tubing

Post by x9200 » Thu, 15 Sep 2011 5:06 pm

I am almost certain this question is too specific for this forum but I guess no harm to ask. I am looking for LLDPE 1/4" water tubing.

This is a plastic tubing used for water connection for home fridges (water filtering / ice making) and home water purification based on reverse osmosis. Anybody knows where to buy it locally? I found one marine fish shop selling some probably non-food grade for ~$S1 per ft and may eventually resort to it but maybe somebody knows a more dedicated source?

Two places to try.

Homely hardware: http://www.homely.com.sg/

Then, just off Jalan Besar in Little India, one street over from Lim Ah Boy motorcycle shop on Kelantin Road, in the HDB complex, there is a good plumbing shop that caters to plumbers... you'll find everything you need... not open Sunday.

Thanks SE. I did not check at Homely as they have a very limited choice of the plumbering stuff at least in the outlet at Toh Guan Rd. I eventually managed to buy the tubing from an online shop that carried out some parts for water purification. Pity I did not know the plumbering shop near Little India. I had some hard time buying some pipe adapters.
