Did you apply under family or PTS scheme? If PTS, what is your income level? (Or if you prefer, just tell us if the EP was a P1, or P2)

I think it's been said before that family scheme is easier than PTS scheme currently. So if it's a PTS based PR, the income level will help numerous readers gauge the current flavor.

Thanks!
I applied under PTS with a P2 pass.

This was actually my second application, the previous one was in 2008. Rejection after 3 months, which makes of course a lot of sense (I only had 2 tax assessments, 1 of them was with less than a year's salary), had not been here long enough on EP, ...)

Hi everyone, hope you all well.

I know this is probably been asked before, I do apologise. Is it possible to apply PR while you live in JB or Nasujaya?

Thanks all in advanced!

Since one of the primary criteria for people getting their PR is their income potential, the last thing you'd think they'd ever do is give a PR to someone who can't afford to live here!

Additionally, PR stands for Permanent Residence. The second word says it all. It's not where you are working, but where you are residing. #-o

Wanna bet he's got a masters?

If you can find it, let us know about it. (It would need to be in the past two years to be relevant). Not someone who got PR and then moved to JB, but someone who applied for and received PR while actually living in JB.
