Actually, I don't. I did these meet-up things several times already. The idea is get enough responses because it's usually only 30% of those who said they'll show up actually show up.qatarbabe wrote:Look people, it's just a brunch.
If people some how hook up during brunch, kudos to you.
But frankly, it's just a chance to meet new people (regardless of shape, size and goodness knows what else), check a new place for brunch and just chillax on a Sunday.
If you really aren't keen on joining us for brunch, then please be respectful about this and take your comments elsewhere.
@nakatago: and u wonder why I didnt follow thru with my initial suggestion for brunch. Hahaha.![]()
My apologies if I offended anyone but this is frankly a little silly over a simple brunch.
It was more like I'm getting tired of seeing people just saying "Hey, I'm _/_/_. Please include me for any meet-ups. My email is _@_." Then nothing happens except attract trolls, spammers and creeps.
Don't mind that spat between cupertino boy and sgslinger. Just draw up a list; people are more inclined to join when they see a list. Or at the very least mention something like, "Oh wow, over 9000 have already said they'll join our shindig!"
