The day has come and I have to figure out how to box up our life in Houston and move to Singapore. We are not moving any furniture or major electronics. Boxes of clothes and books and some sentimental home decor items.
What services did you use? Any recommendations. I am keeping my options open on what to take depending on the rates.
Thank you so much

Check your airline baggage allowance and shove as much as you possibly can into those bags. I did that when I came here two months ago. YMMV between different airlines, but for me Cathay was quite generous, especially with Marco Polo Gold status and a business class ticket. I had four large checked bags that could each have held a few small children.

Well we have crib, baby toys and books. No way they will fit in check-in. Also we do not plan to fly directly to Singapore. We plan to stop for a mini-vacation somewhere along the route. So we do need to ship stuff.
But thanks for the suggestion

I am beginning to understand when the regulars and moderators say....
try using the search function in the top right of the page, this has been discussed many times...
There are international movers federations that you should check up on, try these two options rather than just coming online and asking the question without proper research.

Ritchie,
Most do eventually understand, if they stay around long enough to become regulars as well.
