After the last application which was rejected, he got a pay increase, not much, few hundreds bucks increment, does it worth a new try? as it is a new credential?
A salary increment is not an additional or new credential. A new diploma, degree, masters, Phd "would" be. A new position within the company (vertical, not lateral) "could" be.

I can understand your desperation, but I would wait and see if they are going to renew his S pass.

They already have you flagged for 3 rejections for some reason we do not know!

The S pass renewal, is really a more important hurdle at present, if you over come that hurdle, you can apply again stipulating you want to start your family and feel that you need the governments approval for your husband for the long term so that planning can take place.

Yes wait, I would not appeal it will not help you! You have one shoe in the door being an Indonesian Chinese, I would suggest your hubby starts to study Chinese too.

I'm sure I wouldn't hesitate to take a Filipino if they could speak Mandarin, they have a lot of potential without even trying when it comes to etiquette and are good role models for Singapore

Thanks a lot :-)
Yes, I will wait after renewal and apply again. He is working on his diploma now, one last paper to go. And, yeap, he knows Malay and some Mandarin.

Wish me luck for his renewal. Thanks again!

And who are you.. Master of the world or Genius no: 1?

You've proven the point that many have made about many people from the sub-continent coming on here looking for answers and when they don't get the answer they want they throw their toys out of the pram, act like a child and start to insult people.

Well done, you must be very happy with yourself

(no need to tell me what a bad life I have or how I should mind my own business, many of your brethren have told me the same thing previously  )

Why does that sound familiar ?? you didn't hear something like 'back home, you will be mince-meat, which I normally counter with, 'no wonder you guys are running off, despite your economy being so large and mega $ pouring in .. :D :D
