That's weird. It sounds like the proxy is not operating. Are you getting all the annoying porn, ads and redirects? (a sound test of it working).
Try visiting
http://www.speedtest.net/ or
www.whatsmyipaddress.com - you need this to show the UK!

Yup, plenty of porn ads (altho that seems to "inadvertently" happen quite often on my pc) and pop-up games too. I ran the ip check program and my virtual location seems to be California! That must be the problem. If you know how to choose a UK ip address that would be great, otherwise no problem as popping down to the nearby pub is a pretty handy alternative to sitting in front of a pc and my wife's cooking. Many thanks for your help.

Oh dear, California. This is what it was doing to me during the Egypt uprising. And I could find no way around it. It resolved itself after a few days but that's not much help really. Unless your ip address is in the UK you won't connect to the media player.
To rub it in, I just watched the match without a problem.

What I like about the ITVPlayer is that it e-mails you a link before each game/programme. Once click, straight in.
Arg v Eng highlights are on any minute!

NZ v Jap
Any bets on the outcome?
I thought the JPs did rather well against France, wasn't it 40-20 odd?
I reckon this one might be say 50-15.

JR8 - can you send the link to where to watch NZ v Japan live? I can't seem to find it - I have downloaded the UK VPN.
Thanks

Guys, I've found a website that gives free live streaming of not only the RWC rugger matches but other sports matches too! No foreign IP required.

Thx.... have it open in another window (Tonga/Japan). Will report back later!
Edit to add:
Very simple to find what you want!
Watched in a c. 7" window which was fine for resolution
pop-over ad kept coming up about each 3 minutes
Got some buffering
All in all though if you're ok closing the pop-up ads, it's fine and very simple to use.
