Hi Guys
What does "PUB" mean? Is it some kind of brokerage from the housing agent. I was browsing on the websites for room and in most places I read "not inclusive of PUB." / "inclusive of PUB"
Expecting early reply

Means govt owns all utilities, and you have no alternative, apart from living in a tent and living by candle light.

It is very easy: If you go to a PUB often and drink a lot, the bill will be big.
This is especially true with Singapore's high prices for anything alcoholic.
Or did I miss something here?!?

As was mentioned, PUB stands for the Public Utilities Board. That's the old name and the new name is Singapore Power (SP) Services. It provides utilities such as water and electricity. Gas (for cooking) and rubbish disposal are optional services that they may also provide if requested.
