Job Switching

Post by susanliza88 » Thu, 25 Aug 2011 7:45 pm

Hi

I just joined IBM as an SAP consultant. Turns out SAP is just not the thing for me. I really wish to switch into another technology.

Within IBM I really cannot start looking for a transfer this soon. At this moment I feel extremely frustrated.

IBM is a huge corporate great benefits for a fresh graduate like me.

I wanted to know if I should really try and switch jobs or see how it goes for a while. I really cannot see myself continuing on SAP, but at the moment I am unsure on how to proceed. Please do advice.

Why do you say that SAP is not for you? Perhaps you're not used to the ABAP programming language. Just give it some time. Remember that once you have the SAP experience, you'll earn more later. :P But if you want to go to other areas of IT, then consider what you're really interested in and try to get some experience in that.

Good luck!
