Rookies need help-ltsvp and in principal
1.I have got the epec.Do I need to be present in Singpapore to apply for the long term social visit pass?
If yes,I would have to be there with a entry visa ,right?
And how long would it take to for the procedure of the ltsvp?
2.Besides I notice there is a "in principal approval".I don't know what that is.
Does it mean I don't need the entry visa to be in Singapore?
Can I apply for the in principal approval with epec?
What are the formilities?
3.if the epec is expired, can it be extented?
Thank you for all the help!

Actully I am confused.
As I check the informations on the website:
http://www.mom.gov.sg/foreign-manpower/ ... fault.aspx
You don't need to be in Singapore. But I check some of the threads here. The answer is you have to be In Singapore.
Actully I have submitted the application of ltsvp on line. And after that I realized that I may need to be there.
But as I suceeded to submit the application then there is no point for me to be there just wait.So I am confused.

If you have already received the EPEC, then follow the links that ICA have given you instead of going to different pages means for other LTVPs.

What does the bold blue line indicate to you?Documents Required
Duly completed Form 14* signed by the applicant
Applicant's highest educational certificate (original and photocopy)
Applicant's travel document (e.g. passport) with at least 6 months validity. A copy of the travel document personal particulars page must be submitted to ICA
Applicant’s Disembarkation/Embarkation (D/E) card endorsed with a valid Visit Pass granted on entry into Singapore
One recent passport-sized colour photograph (to be pasted on the top right-hand corner of Form 14) which meets the following requirements:
SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers
Thank you , sunday.
But I am still confused.
Because I have succeeded to submitted the application via the online e-vp.The step-by-step didn't ask me for the FORM14 or the photoes or the disembarktion/embarktion card.
It just ask me to fill in some personal information including the address in Singapore and the epec number, etc.Do I need to be there to apply for it mannully and submit the materials?
Sorry I am really a rookie about all these. It would be really kind of you guys to help.

Welcome to e-VP
This facility allows you to submit an online application for Visit Pass (long term).
Applicants who are successful in their applications will be required to report to Visitor Services Centre, within two months from the date of the In-principle letter, for the completion of formalities.
For Holders of Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate applications, if you fulfill all the following conditions, you can submit a Holders of Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate application online:
your Travel Document has a validity of 6 months or more
your Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate Issue Date is not more than 2 years ago
When you arrive here, Immediately apply for an eAppointment and be sure to take your school degree/transcripts, passport, embarkation/disembarkation card, and any other documents that they request when they tell you to report for either an interview or to finalize the LTVP. Do not, dawdle around for 3 weeks and at the last moment, decide to go to ICA. If you do, bye-bye.Important Information to Note:
Applicant is required to have a valid Visit Pass during his/her stay in Singapore.
The applicant may be required to turn up for an interview.
All original documents, submitted in support of the applications, must be presented for verification. Official translation of the documents is required if they are not in English language.
