Another Maid Question

Post by wannamove » Wed, 24 Aug 2011 12:28 am

I have been reading up and debating if I will need a maid. We are a family of 3 - full time working parents and a toddler. I totally know how messy the house will get with a toddler and given the climate I expect a battle.

I am ok having a maid - but I do not want a stay-in maid. I prefer someone who comes in while I am at home - which will be early mornings or evenings or weekends. Will I be able to find someone like that?

I will not need help with cooking - but general cleaning and mopping.

Thank you

You can, but it will cost you in the area of $15-$20/hour with the odds being more like $18-20. Again, the hourly rate usually is flexible, depending on how many times/week or month she comes in & how long each time.

There are several of these types of agencies listed in my links page below in the centre column.

Thank you @Sundaymorningstaple. I will look through the list. around 20$ seems reasonable for once a week work I anticipate but I might just change my mind after I get there. Thanks

Thank you. I expected it to be around $100 a visit and looks like I was close
