PEP dates - confusion

Just got the PEP approval letter. However, there are some a few dates on there. Rather confusing. Need some expert advice.

The In-principle Approval letter was issued on 17/8/2011.

On there, it says the In-principle approval is for 60 months. And it is valid until 13/2/2012.

So, the IPA was issued on 17/8, but what is the significance of 13/2/2012? When does the 60 months start counting - 17/8/11 or 13/2/2012?

When does the 6 months allowable no-employment period start - 17/8/11 or 13/2/2012?

The 60 months starts from the date the PEP is issued. It won't be issued until you arrive in Singapore and get the pass issued. The 6 months also starts from the same date the PEP is issued.

13/2/2012 is the date that the IPA expires. If you haven't taken up the PEP before that date, the IPA expires.
