Anyone tried the Singpost "My Mail Box" virtual ad

Post by ching » Sat, 20 Aug 2011 7:25 pm

We're considering trying the SingPost "My Mailbox" service, which gives you a virtual PO box address, and SingPost will deliver the mail to your actual address.

Has anyone tried that with either local or overseas addresses?

What was your experience?

Thanks in advance for sharing!

Hello, we are using it as our online merchant address. :)

However, we have not tried to use it as the shipping address yet.

The service is great.
I had left Singapore for a few years and I am still receiving my mails in Australia through the service.
I did not end the service as I have intention to return to Singapore.

virtual address from singpost??? that service is not really up to my expectations at all. I found a better solution through a virtual office solution. If you are keen let me know. I can refer. It is so much better, just pay a bit more.

Virtual office is good for business (due to normal looking address and for ACRA purposes). For personal needs I am not sure. Price-wise it is similar. Singpost virtual address with mail forwarding to overseas address cost $360 per year (+GST). Reputable Virtual Office will charge $400-500 + postal fees.

My understanding is that airmail fees are included in Singpost service, the only thing Singpost doesn't state is frequency they forward mails to overseas. For local mails they say next business day. If they would be posting to overseas next day from receiving mail, that would be great and certainly better than once a week like Virtual Offices do.

Anyone else using My Mail Box from Singpost can share some views?
