Hair rebonding/Chemical Straightening

I'm fed up having frizzy/fluffy hair every time I leave the house!

I blow dry and straighten (with GHD's) my hair but as soon as I step outside my hair turns into candy floss so I was thinking of having my hair rebonded/chemical straightened, I have a few indian and singaporean friends who have had this done and their hair looks fab but Im concerned that it wont work on my fine blonde hair, has anyone with blonde/caucasian type fine hair had this done and was it successful?

Any salon recommendations appreciated
