Prepaid or Contract phone plan for expats?

Post by Venomrush » Wed, 17 Aug 2011 9:21 pm

Hi all,

I'm not familiar with the costs for prepaid, kindly ask you for assistant.

I need the following per month:
500 mins outgoing
200-300 texts (using Whatsapp BBM etc most of the time)
1GB internet data

I think this is pretty much standard for an average expat.

If I was on prepaid, how much will this cost me?
What is the cheapest contract I can get for this?

I don't have a BB so don't need the BBS.

Many thanks!

A quick Google search yielded the following web pages for postpaid plans for the 3 major telco providers in Singapore:

M1:
http://www.m1.com.sg/M1/site/M1Corp/men ... 5a230aRCRD

Singtel:
http://info.singtel.com/personal/commun ... rice-plans

Starhub:

From the links above, you can also use the built-in site search feature to look at the prepaid options. From the info provided, you can answer your own questions. :)
