Help with Interior Update

Post by 184jones » Tue, 16 Aug 2011 2:28 pm

Hi
Have just renewed my rental for another 2 years and although very happy would like to give my living room a makeover. I still have all the odds and bods furniture collected over the last 10 years, none of these items go together to make that ecelectic look you see in magazines.!!! As we are living in a rental, am also restricted in what we can do. Would like to recover our existing sofa, and get some fabrics/furniture to give an overall look. The room shape is also odd so need fresh ideas!

Has anyone got a company or individual who they can recommend. I really only have $500-$1000 for the consultation, and would like a scheme so I can go and buy some of my own bits. Any ideas?

When I was a young man, I was partial to early cable spool & orange crate accompanied by natural planking with cinder block supports. Maintenance was easy & cost was minimal to zero.
