Concern about air quality, pollution, children's health

I've never seen it worse than 2009 down in Marina Bay area--looks like SG had forest fires for a good month.

I've seen it much worse. Back in the mid 90's I was living in the Serviced Apartment tower of the Park Royal on Beach road, circa 20th floor, and you could not see the ECP from the windows, maybe 1km away.

IME, the haze lasts for months a year, just at varying degrees. I wouldn't trust the SG govt to publish accurate statistics on it, in some respects it is not in their interest to do so.
