Moving to Singapore from Chicago. Which cable provider has the best US TV content - sports, tv shows, etc.

Thanks in advance

I would say Starhub outstrips Singtel by some way when it comes to the mainstream US entertainment shows.

You can see the channel packages here:-

Singtel

http://mio.singtel.com/miotv/channels-on-demand.asp

Starhub

http://www.starhub.com/tv.html

Singtel is TV through your phone line or optical whereas Starhub is through coaxial cable.

For entertainment I much preferred Starhub's selection but I am with MiO now purely for the exclusive EPL sports coverage.

Since I moved house I haven't got around to adding Starhub since the local channels work pretty ok for me.

As far as I am aware both carry ESPN and other major sports channels although I could be wrong on this since I do not subscribe.

Starhub is also now available on optical as well.

or you can do it like what alot of people did. Install a Slingbox back home and stream in to your fav channels. Good thing is you can watch it on iphone and ipad as well. That's how i get my fox news and cnn fix.
