Student Visa to singapore

Post by fiazio » Thu, 11 Aug 2011 3:56 pm

Hello forum, I hope everyone's doing fine.
I just applied at the SAE Institute for my diploma and degree (BA) in recording arts at
The Riverwalk Galleria
20 Upper Circular Road
#01-42/49
Singapore 058416

How long does it usually take for a student visa to be approved?
My course starts on September 26th and my application will be received at the institute on monday 22nd august, do you think my visa will be processed in time?

Thanks

Yes, you shouldn't have a problem getting a reply by the start date of your course. One thing to keep in mind is the fact of a face-to-face interview with ICA so they can see you and only then will you get the actual Visa--everything until then is "approved" but not in hand.

One area of concern--I don't see SEA Institute listed on the Council for Private Education website:

http://www.cpe.gov.sg/cos/o.x?c=/cpe/pe ... registered

Only registered providers/schools are able to give certificates and diplomas. The school MUST have a CPE number--especially an EduTrust number if you're an international student.

AHA! It's SAE Institute! Yes, on the bottom of their website they have an EduTrust number--BUT it's not reflected on their CPE school website.

Good luck!

Hello,
thank you so much.
You have been very helpful.
I'm just having trouble getting myself accommodation.
We're a group of almost 5 people, any ideas?

Thanks
