No use. There are squillions of links over there. You need to point him to the right, specific apartment.

Housing Options for 6 month contract in Singapore?
no .. you are wrong ..x9200 wrote:No use. There are squillions of links over there. You need to point him to the right, specific apartment.
you need to do more than that : Find the place, negotiate, and then go to the apartment and arrange everything .. and do all the legwork, so the Royal Prince will just fly in ..

For CBD - near Marina Bay - try The Sail, One Shenton, Ascott residences. There are plenty of units advertised on the mainstream Singapore property sites in those condo's, and you should be able to negotiate with the agents for a 6 month rental. You'll just have to pay a premium because it's a short-term rental

I'd like to believe it's because it's Friday, but it doesn't seem to matter which day it is........Strong Eagle wrote:Any point to all the piling on, "gentlemen"?
JR8's just mad cause he can't be here next Friday.

Heh? I haven't even posted in this thread!sundaymorningstaple wrote:I'd like to believe it's because it's Friday, but it doesn't seem to matter which day it is........Strong Eagle wrote:Any point to all the piling on, "gentlemen"?

Oh, and I'm not mad about anything

p.s. But yes it is a shame I can't make next Friday. I have an 8 hour layover on Tuesday, but even if that did work with everyone I don't think spending it boozing with 'you lot' would be the greatest of plans

You're like the naughty schoolkid who get's blamed for everything.....JR8 wrote:Which other one? The one where the OP asked a question, you answered it, he repeated exactly the same question again, I asked if he had a MASTER, and he confirmed that.
Sorry, such ironies do make me laugh, even at 5am.

No it just seems like a lot of posters here have literacy problems.sundaymorningstaple wrote:Almost seems like a demand, doesn't it. Probably the phrasing and curtness of it made it seem strident, and probably caused a bit of grinding of teeth by some of our readers. It struck me that ways as well, truth be known.SAP1 wrote:Budget as per my previous post not more than 5k per month.
One bedroom no more than thirty minutes to city.
If you had read my original post and the first response then you would understand why I reposted like that.
Thanks for the posters that actually posted something worthwhile as for the others hope it made you feel better to post the drivel that you think passes for comment.
So the first guy tries to help, but because his response wasn't totally to your liking he has literacy problems and deserved the rude reply you gave him? You do realise that this website is free don't you and we're not here to serve you? If you want specific information why don't you try seaching for it yourself, there's this new super-dooper thing called GOOGLE or are you too dense to use it to find Singapore property sites? (don't answer that, I already know the answer)
Maybe if your own literacy skills were a little better you could also find those links to the Serviced Apartment and property sections I referred you to? You know those links that are at the top OF THIS PAGE.
But that wouldn't meet your strict criteria of course, the one whereby you expect others to search for you and recommend things FOR FREE and if they don't they're not worth the "civility" that you quite amazingly accused others of lacking.
That's why you got up mine and others noses. You will be a real asset to Singapore with the attitude you've shown so far, thank Christ it's only for 6 months

If you are having problems with your current medication may I suggest changing your health care provider.JayCee wrote:So the first guy tries to help, but because his response wasn't totally to your liking he has literacy problems and deserved the rude reply you gave him? Aah, referring to people needing medical help - the final (pathetic) words of a troll, you didn't disappoint.SAP1 wrote:If you are having problems with your current medication may I suggest changing your health care provider.JayCee wrote:So the first guy tries to help, but because his response wasn't totally to your liking he has literacy problems and deserved the rude reply you gave him?
