Each night down at the beach-side kopitiam the riots seem to be getting solid coverage on the evening news. And the locals are watching it intently.

The UK is a shambles and I think it's showing people who are unaware that the Country is far from the bed of roses you see on postcards.
During conversations, Taxi drivers here for example seem really surprised about all the trouble, and thought it was a really calm, and pleasant place to live with hardly any trouble!!
The sad thing is that the UK needs root and branch social (etc) reform but there are no politicians with the mandate or guts to drive it through.
'Cast iron' Cameron is a wet who U-turns on seemingly everything. What a shame.
