Are people accessing this site with their phones?

Post by nakatago » Sat, 06 Aug 2011 1:00 am

...because I noticed the more prominent lack of letters in a lot of posts. Because last time I checked, smartphones are popular with mobile web browsing, touchscreens have complete keyboards by default and those that have keyboards, have the complete alphabet on them.

Moreover, smartphones today have autocorrect on by default so it will fill in the correct spelling of words. Also because of this, "txt speak" is on the decline. Is it that difficult to type?

What gives?!?

I look on my phone but rarely post from it; autocorrect ruins my life.

You can turn off Autocorrect on the iphone if you so wish!

It's in
Settings>General>Keyboard
Then you will see Auto-Correction, Auto-Capitalisation and Spell Check, you can turn them all on and off here!

If it's a different phone, I am sure you can do it also, you may need to have a root about the phone or google it :)
