i don't have any solutions for you, but if you told us how you were cheated or what your financial situation is like for the foreseeable future, others might be able to be more helpful.

You fell for someone's dirty tricks on the internet. It's a classic online swindle. You can only hope to find a way to pay your debt, which, unfortunately, we can do very little to help you with.

1. Try to extend your contract to stay here longer and pay your debts.
2. Talk to a lawyer if you have any proof that the money changed the hands. What the police said when you mentioned (did you?) you didn't know her name / address?

1. Contract will not be extended...Seems job cut happending across industry again.
2. Police said that it has to be taken via court. Approched lawyer, since the money was paid thro cash,,,there is not guarantee that case will stand...without any details of here case cannot be filed. only her mobile number is avaliable and again it is not in her name
3.approached some detective agency who is charging 600 for complete insvestigations.
Since my debts are 98k),
I have a small piece of land which i will sell(i will get 10k).
88k to be repaid...i approached bank, they said bankruptcy cannot be filed by expats and i need to pay u.
i want to know if some if really interested to help me...i dont want money in hand or account. they can pay my credit card directly. its a request for the people who are willing to donate generously. i have been regular contributot to various cancer instutuite, heart foundation and orphanage...never thought my life will be so misreable. i have a small kid to take care....

i'm not sure if i should believe you, but tough luck.
if you're genuine in paying off your debt, the bank will work out some sort of long-term repayment plan with you.

one think i noticed and want to share...
when a gal is in problem----thousands of guys help them
when a guy is a problem--hundreds of his friend will them
when a person in a problem-their family/relative will help them
when a person alone caring for his own family without friends-------no one is there to help me.........old saying money will come and go...friends/people will stick on forever.......in many case, friend may come and go anytime ....money alone stick on forever.....no money...no friends...no relatives...no gal friend....only ur family will be together...how many of you agree to this.............

Hi Sriks_21,
How much do you earn in Singapore? You mentioned that you were cheated of 20K, how about the remain debt of 80K? What did you do to rack up this 80k?

You are doomed, mate. If you were dumb enough to give someone 100K and not even collect appropriate documentation... like an NRIC number, you are doomed.
Consider it a high tuition course in the university of life... because from everything you have written, you have no way to recover so much as one dollar. Fact.
