Hello All,
I need some help. I've been accepted to attend the January semester at a university in Singapore for 5 months. I would be traveling from Canada. A few years ago I was convicted of a DUI, which is a criminal offence in Canada.
It happened, no excuses being made, but now I'm back in school and wondering if this will hurt my chances of getting a student Visa. I've been searching everywhere on the web and haven't been able to find any information, unless I contact an embassy.
It's a big decision, which would involve me moving in Canada for the short term and a lot of other big things to finish up before the semester starts in January. Is it worth me pursuing or will I be denied?
Any help, or pointing me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
