Marina Bay Light Show

Post by vozzie » Tue, 02 Aug 2011 11:15 am

I haven't seen the nightly light show yet and we are having visitors soon, so I wanted to take them there.

Is it best to watch it from MBS or from the Fullerton side?

I'm especially wondering whether you can see the projected images from the Fullerton side.

Thanks

there's this outdoor deck, outside the marina bay sands shopping complex where the show goes on. it is supposed to be an "attraction" at marina bay sands, doubt that its visible from fullerton.

anyway, you can also bring your guest to the esplanade, especially on weekends where there are always shows (for free) going on either in the concourse of the building or at the outdoor pavillion! the view is nice from there too

Thanks for that.

We actually went to the light show a few nights ago, from the Fullerton side.
From there, you can get a good overview of the big picture.... but you can't hear the music very well and you can't see the film show.

However, one of our guests viewed it from the MBS side and said it was great. So we'll give that side a try next time.

I tried both before and didn't think it was that spectacular :(
Maybe 'cause I've always like the Bellagio in Vegas
